Corporate Bookkeeper (Skilled Nursing)

NOW HIRING: Corporate Accounts Receivable/SNF Biller

We are currently seeking a Skilled Nursing Facility Accounts Receivable/Biller for our Corporate office in Mobile, AL. The candidate must be detailed oriented and have good follow through and communication skills. The SNF Biller is responsible for billing functions for all payer sources such as private, Medicare A, Medicare B. Medicaid, Hospice, HMO and insurance claims.

Essential Functions

• Prepares and electronically file all Medicare, Medicaid, HMO and Insurance claims
• Post remittance advises and cash receipts for all payer types
• Verify eligibility and maintain all documentation necessary to support medical claims
• Research and make corrections on all billing issues
• Communicate on a daily basis with your assigned facilities and answer all billing questions as needed
• Analyze the accounts receivable reports and exercise good judgment on working any problem claims
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 18-years of age, High School graduate or GED (General Education Diploma)
• Must have at least 2-years experience in medical billing, accounting, A/R, bookkeeping or related education and training
