Description
As a key member of our team, the Reception Staff (Host/Hostess) is the first and last point of contact for every guest. You're essential in setting the stage for a great dining experience by warmly greeting patrons, managing the flow of the dining room, and coordinating seating arrangements efficiently. Your role directly influences our guests' initial impression of Buffalo Wild Wings, ensuring a smooth transition from arrival to their table. You are responsible for handling waitlists, answering phones, taking to-go orders, and maintaining a positive, organized environment at the entrance.
Qualifications
- Previous experience of one to two years in a high-volume restaurant or bar setting is preferred.
- Must meet the minimum legal age requirement to serve alcoholic beverages, or higher, in accordance with state and local laws.
- Possesses exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to outstanding guest service, understanding how to contribute to memorable moments.

Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact, providing a welcoming and cheerful reception to all guests entering the establishment.
- Strategically manage the restaurant seating plan, accurately quote wait times, and escort guests to their designated tables, ensuring a balanced workload for the service staff.
- Assist the management team by taking reservations, handling phone inquiries, processing carry-out orders accurately, and maintaining a tidy, organized host stand area.
