Role and Responsibilities

As a Restaurant Cook, you will lead your team to deliver an exceptional guest experience while managing daily restaurant operations. You will drive success by motivating, supporting, and empowering team members. Your core responsibilities include:

  • Display integrity by role-modeling genuine communication and creating an atmosphere centered on respect, trust, and accountability.
  • Distribute assignments such as maintaining cleanliness, line-related tasks, and opening/closing responsibilities throughout work hours.
  • Facilitate skill-building and learning experiences for team members to elevate their performance and success.
  • Efficiently handle food expenditures, labor outlays, waste reduction, and monetary transactions to ensure operational efficiency during the shift.
  • Aim to excel in hospitality by exceeding brand expectations and offering a best-in-class guest service.
  • Safeguard compliance and safety by enforcing regulations concerning food safety, security, and labor standards.
  • Incorporate and uphold the people-first principles of EYAS Hospitality Group in your daily practice.

Required Skills and Experience

  • It is mandatory to have passed the 18-year mark to be eligible for certain privileges.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Capability to handle the physical workload in a restaurant environment, encompassing tasks like extended periods of standing, lifting heavy items, bending down, squatting, reaching for items, conducting cleaning duties such as sweeping and mopping, and being flexible to various temperature conditions.
  • Flexibility in scheduling to cover evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Consistent means of commuting and flexibility to work long or irregular shifts when necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma.
  • Enrolled in courses related to restaurant management as part of academic pursuits.
  • A background in fast-food service lasting a minimum of six months.
  • Demonstrating strong leadership qualities and admired for being a trusted and approachable example.
  • Being self-driven, having a constructive mindset, and staying committed to moral behavior.
