Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Licensed Therapist located in Summerdale, AL. The Licensed Therapist will provide therapeutic services to children and families. Day-to-day tasks include conducting individual and group therapy sessions, performing assessments, developing treatment plans, and maintaining accurate and confidential records. The role may also involve collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and participating in community outreach or training programs to support the center's mission.

Qualifications

Proficiency in therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Therapy, and play therapy. Will train the right candidate.
Strong skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for children and families.
Ability to maintain accurate documentation and ensure ethical and legal compliance in record-keeping.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, families, and multi-disciplinary teams.
Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent in the state of Alabama.
Experience with trauma-informed care and working in child advocacy or similar settings is a plus.
Flexibility and dedication to meet the needs of clients and the organization's mission.
