About the Job

Drivers will be moving touch freight for Dollar General. Drivers can be scheduled ASAP. On average, will be running 3-5 loads a week with 3 stops per load. If outside of IL,IN, MI, you will be 21 days on and 7 days off.

Mileage, load and stop pay. Make over $95,000/year!

Great wage, home weekly, and very consistent freight. Opportunity to be driver trainer.

$2,500 sign-on bonus. ($1,000 paid 7 days after 1st dispatch, then $1,500 after 90 days)

Job Summary

Home Time

• 2 - 5 expected days out
• Get 2 days of home time for every 5 days worked

Core Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

• Inspection of vehicle, equipment, and cargo to ensure everything is safe, legal, and secure.
• Submitting customer paperwork and deposits including invoices, load orders, and handheld reports.
• Maintaining a driver's log in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Stacking and sorting delivered cargo.
• Daily customer interactions and maintaining good customer relations.
• Being available for work at all times in order to meet customer pickup and delivery schedules.

Hiring Requirements

• Class A license
• 3 months Tractor Trailer experience
