Position Key Responsibilities

Receive customer orders and enter all details accurately into the TMS.
Update orders promptly when changes or cancellations occur.
Monitor container availability and status with ports, terminals, and rail ramps.
Communicate any delays or issues to customers immediately.
Plan and schedule container pickups to avoid demurrage charges.
Schedule delivery appointments and provide drivers with accurate instructions (BOL, PO, delivery notes).
Provide customers with timely updates throughout the delivery process.
Confirm return locations and cutoff times with steamship lines.
Coordinate empty returns to avoid per diem charges.
Build trust through accuracy, transparency, and proactive service.
Work closely with dispatch, warehouse, billing, and operations teams.
Assist with local driver scheduling and routing.
Communicate with drivers to resolve on-site issues in real time.
Support inbound and outbound scheduling with warehouse teams (Near Future)
Monitor inventory movements and ensure accurate documentation (Near Future)
Ensure all data is entered correctly for billing and compliance purposes (Near Future)

Qualifications

Experience in logistics, dispatch, transportation, or drayage preferred.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency with TMS, CRM, or related systems is a plus.
High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in logistics or business preferred
