Role and Responsibilities

We are hiring a Fitness Club Front Desk Staff to embody our core values and deliver an exceptional experience to members, guests, and prospective members. As the first point of contact at our club, you will help promote the positive and supportive environment that Planet Fitness is known for. Responsibilities include:

• Greet members, guests, and prospective members with friendly and professional service
• Oversee front desk operations, including answering calls, checking in members, registering new members, and providing club tours
• Maintain and update member accounts accurately
• Address member inquiries and concerns promptly, escalating when necessary
• Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming club environment

Required Skills and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum age of 18 years
• Customer service experience preferred
• Basic computer literacy
• Passion for fitness, wellness, and helping others
• Positive, approachable, and energetic attitude
• Dependable, punctual, and strong work ethic
• Exceptional customer service skills focused on exceeding expectations
• Strong listening, empathy, and problem-solving abilities
• Professional communication and demeanor at all times

Physical Demands

• Standing and walking throughout the shift
• Frequent verbal communication in person or over the phone
• Occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Periodic exposure to cleaning chemicals

Compensation and Benefits
