Federal Project Manager

About the Position
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to join our growing Federal team, specializing in Federal/DoD facility design projects. The ideal candidate will bring 8-10 years of relevant experience and a passion for leading complex, high-impact projects. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, balancing the ability to work independently with the need to engage across multiple teams and disciplines. You will have the opportunity to lead projects across diverse markets and geographies, further strengthening your expertise in federal project management while contributing to the growth and success of our firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage federal projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, schedule, and quality standards.
- Manage project scoping, proposal development, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, track progress, and report on budget and schedule adherence.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of project issues.
- Oversee project deliverables and ensure successful project closeout.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance project outcomes.
Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field from an accredited institution; or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of 8 years of project management experience, ideally within the A/E/C consulting environment.
- Professional Engineering (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) licensure is preferred; Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar credentials are a plus.
- Strong proficiency in project management software, including Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, and other relevant tools.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- A drive to continuously learn, grow professionally, and mentor junior team members.
