Federal Project Manager

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to join our growing Federal team, specializing in Federal/DoD facility design projects. The ideal candidate will bring 8-10 years of relevant experience and a passion for leading complex, high-impact projects. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, balancing the ability to work independently with the need to engage across multiple teams and disciplines. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage federal projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, schedule, and quality standards.
• Manage project scoping, proposal development, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, track progress, and report on budget and schedule adherence.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of project issues.
• Oversee project deliverables and ensure successful project closeout.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance project outcomes.

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field from an accredited institution; or equivalent professional experience.
• A minimum of 8 years of project management experience, ideally within the A/E/C consulting environment.
• Professional Engineering (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) licensure is preferred; Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar credentials are a plus.
• Strong proficiency in project management software, including Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, and other relevant tools.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
• A drive to continuously learn, grow professionally, and mentor junior team members.
