We are currently seeking a dedicated TES Administrative Assistant to join our Baldwin County Extension team. This individual will serve as a crucial resource for office backup as needed.

About TES

Temporary Employment Services (TES), a unit of the Auburn University Department of Human Resources, is an in-house support center established to meet the temporary employment needs of the university. TES provides qualified and dedicated temporary employees in a wide variety of occupations to meet the staffing needs throughout the campus. Temporary employees are hired for a variety of reasons with the most common being:

Assistance in the place of a regular employee who is absent for a specified period of time
Additional assistance during periods of abnormal or peak workloads
Assistance with special projects
Seasonal work
Emergencies

Essential Functions

Answer phone calls
Assist clients that come into the Baldwin County Extension office
Research questions
Perform data-entry work
Some bookkeeping and payroll may be required
Assist with special projects

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of one year of experience in administrative support, office management, or a related field.

Expectations

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work on-site at the designated location.
Flexibility to work as needed.

Desired Qualifications

Associate degree or higher preferred.
